Eric Kripke (born 1974) is an American writer and television producer. Kripke came to prominence in the late 2000s for creating The WB/CW fantasy drama series ''Supernatural'' (2005–2020). He served as the showrunner during the first five seasons of the series. Since then, he has created and/or produced a number of television series including ''Revolution'' (2012–2014), ''Timeless'' (2016–2018), and ''The Boys'' (2019–present).
