On the day of her sixteenth birthday where she'll be accepted into the warrior tribe of the Amazons, Princess Diana of Themyscira, decides to rescue a group of refugees that have broken through the barrier to the Amazons' world. Diana then gets swept out to sea with the other refugees and becomes a refugee herself in a foreign land. She then begins a life on the outside, dedicated to helping refugees find safety.
