Tommie Smith Derrick Barnes Dawud Anyabwile
Book - 2022

In this graphic novel account, Olympic gold medalist Tommie Smith documents his life and career before and after his 1968 protest against racial injustice during the gold medal ceremony in which he and teammate John Carlos raised black-gloved fists during the playing of the national anthem.
