The flowers' festival

The flowers' festival

[Elsa Beskow]
Book - 2022

Lisa ran to pick some wildflowers, and they kept nodding strangely at her. She lay down in the grass and nodded back at the harebells, marguerites and buttercups. Then suddenly she heard someone call her by name, and, startled, looked up. The flowers invite Lisa to their Midsummer party, where she meets Queen Rose, Lady Pansy, Lady Honeysuckle and Lord Bleeding Heart and hears their wonderful stories.
