545 0 |a George Washington Fuller, librarian and scholar, was born in Massachusetts in 1876. He was educated at Harvard and Tufts before coming to Spokane in 1907 as a Unitarian Minister. He became Spokane<U+2019>s City Librarian in 1911 and remained in that position until his retirement in 1936. He was also a historian, who published "The Inland Empire of the Pacific Northwest" and "A History of the Pacific Northwest." He died in Spokane in 1940.
