Lady Georgiana Rannoch's mother, a glamorous and much-married actress, is crossing the pond for a quickie divorce in Reno. Since all expenses are paid by hubby-to-be, Max, Georgiana goes along. Once on board, Mother all but forgets about Max and matrimony when movie mogul Cy Goldman casts her in his next picture. And as if there wasn't enough drama, no sooner do they arrive than Cy turns up dead in his Hollywood home.
