During World War II, a warship packed with hundreds of soldiers is enroute to the frontlines when it is suddenly attacked by Japanese fighter jets. Within minutes, the ship is blown apart, engulfed in flames and sinking fast. Most of the crew are killed instantly, but a small group of survivors escape the wreckage and piece together a makeshift raft from floating debris. Adrift in the vast ocean and clinging to life, survivors face brutal sun exposure, dehydration, hunger, rising tensions and panic, but the most immediate threat is unseen and circling below.
