One small photograph album of pictures taken of the Orchard Park irrigation system and pictures of Deer Park around the time of its incorporation in 1908. Photographs include Deer Park. The album contains approximately seventy-five pages of photographs taken during the construction of the irrigation system at Arcadia Orchards. Also included are photographs of buildings and streets in Deer Park, Washington, construction of irrigation flumes, building in Deer Park, logging operations and surveyors at work.

545 | 0 | |a Gordon F. Daggett, engineer, was the son of Floyd L. Daggett, mayor of Spokane (1905-1907) who helped organize and was president of the Arcadia Orchard Company. Arcadia Orchard Company was established in 1904, and became the largest orchard irrigation company in the United States. Gordon F. Daggett worked as the engineer of the irrigation system. He later moved to Wisconsin where he had been born and attended the University of Wisconsin, and then worked as a civil engineer for the state highway department. | |
