Teen witch Nova Huang works at her grandmother's magical bookshop in a small New England town that loans out spell books and investigates supernatural occurrences. One day, Nova sees a white wolf run into the woods and she follows it only to find that her crush, Tam Lang, is actually a werewolf and is battling a horse demon. Nova learns that Tam is running from magical forces that look to harness the power of werewolves. When Nova agrees to help him, the two find romance.
