In this graphic novel adaptation of the middle grade series, a group of young kids encounter a dying shapeshifting alien who warns them of an impending Earth invasion by a parasitic species known as the Yeerks. Before its death, the alien gives the kids powers to shapeshift into animals to fight the Yeerks, until they can get help from other alien species who are on their way to help them.
