Davey Spink suffers from a rare form of gigantism that is taking a terrible tole on his health. He shares a special bond with his older, but smaller, sister Lenny. Together they enjoy their monthly installments of Burrell's Build-It-at-Home Encyclopedia set and make plans for their futures. But Lenny will have to face those plans alone when a tumor, the size of which seems to match her brother's giant body, takes her brother from her.
