Teen best friends Skylar and Abbi are out one night when they witness a strange woman meeting some hidden figure in a dark van, and at first they are thrilled--finally, some mystery to spice up their boring small town summer. The two decide to become sleuths, investigating the woman and the van and looking for clues--until a local woman is found murdered in the woods. Suddenly, Abbi and Skylar realize their investigation could help solve a murder case, and sleuthing becomes no longer a game. Tensions rise, their friendship frays, and the girls' own lives may come into danger.
