The lady is a spy

Virginia Hall World War II hero of the French resistance
Don Mitchell
Book - 2019

Virginia Hall, an American, was traveling in Europe when Hitler invaded Poland in September of 1939. Instead of returning home, she went to France and became a spy for the Allies. This dangerous job was made more difficult by the fact that she had a prosthetic leg. Though she was highly honored for her role, she is little known today, which Mitchell has done much to change.
