[48], mention of "Washington Water Power Co.'s Electrical Line" to Medical Lake [built 1905--HistoryLink], and references to "The High School" p. [i and 41]. The photo of "The High School" on p. [41] is of the Spokane High School built in 1891, renamed South Central High School when a second high school (North Central) was opened in 1908. South Central was destroyed by fire June 21, 1910. The school was rebuilt in a Tudor-Gothic style, was renamed Lewis and Clark High School, and was formally dedicated April 3, 1912. [Information from Lewis and Clark High School's Internet website].
