545 0 |a It is not clear from this collection whether Hypolitte was related to Telesphore Brouillette. No information is available on Hypolitte. Telesphore Brouillette was born in Quebec and moved to Illinois as a young man. He served in the Union Army. After 1865, he entered McGill University in Montreal, where he studied for the ministry. He graduated in 1874 and was ordained that year. He married Ida Raymond and they had thirteen children. They came to the Northwest in 1880 where he served as a Presbyterian Missionary and later retired to Portland.
