Twelve-year-old Hudson Patel is the Broadway star of the theater production "Our Time," and on the side he runs a FoodTube baking channel. When a casting call goes out for contestants on the Great American Baking competition, Hudson's friends encourage him to enter. As the baking competition intensifies, a new show opens down the street and his castmates worry that he's spending too much time on his new endeavor to give his all to their threatened show. Turning to his grandmother for help, Hudson learns strategies for balancing both of his loves and expressing his Indian heritage in his cooking.
