Jen has been searching for answers ever since her brother disappeared. The ruins of the theme park where he was last seen, Bosco Bay, are due to be demolished soon, but Jen keeps sneaking onto the grounds because she's convinced that a clue to her brother's fate is still there. When her cousin Allie comes to live with her family for the summer, it doesn't take long for Jen to convince her that her brother didn't run away. As the two girls continue to investigate, they begin to suspect that theme park designer Mr. Peterson knows what happened.
