Purchased by an evil master named Fitzhugh who likely killed his previous indentured servant, Oliver is determined to escape and find his sister, Charity, who was sent to America on a different boat. Alongside an enslaved boy named Bara, Oliver sets out on an adventure that might bring him and Bara freedom if they can outrun the evil man who owns them.
