Ghostlight

Kenneth Oppel
Book - 2022

Every summer, Gabe Vasilakis leads a ghost tour of Toronto's Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, where he recounts the unexplained deaths of sixteen-year-old Rebecca Strand and her father who fell to their deaths from the top of the lighthouse and whose spirits are said to haunt it. When Rebecca's ghost suddenly appears, he learns the terrifying truth behind her death--that her father was a ghost-hunter and they were killed by a powerful spirit named Viker. Soon, Gabe and his friends find themselves digging into Toronto history to search for a ghostlight that can banish the powerful enemy.
