"The Boy's Ranch was and is a home for wayward boys. In the early days, some came who simply did not have another home. But more often it was a residential treatment center for boys who had gotten into trouble and needed guidance. From the twelve years I worked at the Boy's Ranch, I found that certain of the boys' stories were burned into memory. This feeling did not fade with the passage of years so more recently I decided I needed to "get them out". It must have been the right decision, as they are no longer burning, but are now warm memories."
