When Luke investigates a glow in the woods behind his house, he sees a trio of inept alien henchmen who drop a strange device before leaving. The mysterious device attaches to Luke's arm and suddenly he's being chased by the henchmen who want their device back. Fortunately, Luke is rescued by a scientist named Doc, a robot Abraham Lincoln, a friendly dinosaur called Zinc, and a sarcastic ghost named Artemis. Now he and his new companions are on the run through a parallel dimension.
