Pavel "Pasha" Talankin, a teacher and videographer at a primary school in Karabash, Russia, secretly documents the transformation of his school after the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. As the government mandates patriotic propaganda sessions and militarizes curriculum, Pasha is forced to promote state-sanctioned messages. Under the cover of his official role, he films hundreds of hours of footage, exposing how children are indoctrinated and graduating students are recruited to fight in the war. When his own safety becomes threatened, he plans a dangerous escape from Russia.
