545 0 |a John Fahey (1919-2004) was a historian and prolific author. He published nine books and authored several articles. He attended Gonzaga University and Northwestern University and earned a Masters degree in journalism. He worked for several Spokane radio and television stations and worked as a TIME magazine stringer in the 1950s. During the 1960s he worked at Eastern Washington University as director of grants and research, as well as teaching in the Journalism and History departments, retiring in 1985.
